Zbigniew Bury was born in 1966 in Wadowice. He is an interdisciplinary artist practicing painting, ceramics, and sculpture. Since 2008, he has also created caricatural works under the pseudonym Alex Johanson. In 2009, the artist was awarded the Silver Medal of the "Labor Omnia Vincit" Society, which is an expression of the highest recognition for his professional, artistic, and socio-cultural activity. In 2013, he received the "Meritorious for Polish Culture" badge awarded by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage, Bogdan Zdrojewski. In 2020, he received an Honorary Diploma of the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine in Kyiv. He exhibits in Poland and abroad.

ANNAART ceramics studio started to make a ceramic sculptures in 2008. It specializes in artistic ceramics. The leading themes are theatrical people and animals.
